Denae Keyer, DMD, MD

Dr. Denae C. Keyer is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon with a strong academic, clinical, and research background. She grew up in the small town of Hondo, Texas, and went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Barry University, where she graduated cum laude and developed a strong interest in research. Her early research work was published in the Journal of Chromatography A, and she continued to build on that foundation throughout her dental and surgical training.

Dr. Keyer earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in 2019. During dental school, she was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society and Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society, recognizing her academic excellence and commitment to the profession. She later earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Texas Health San Antonio Long School of Medicine in 2022 and completed her certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Temple University Hospital in 2026.

Her clinical interests include pediatric oral surgery, dentoalveolar surgery, dental implantology, advanced bone reconstruction, benign oral pathology, and facial trauma reconstructive surgery. She is also active in research and organized oral and maxillofacial surgery, with publications in the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology and Oral Radiology, and other peer-reviewed journals. She has presented research at national meetings, including AAOMS and other professional conferences.

Dr. Keyer is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and Pennsylvania Dental Association. She strives to help patients feel comfortable and well cared for while delivering the highest level of surgical care.

Outside of work, Dr. Keyer enjoys spending time with her husband and son, being involved with church, golfing, fishing, skiing, gardening, and horseback riding.
